Job Description
SRC is currently looking for a software test engineer to advance software testing efforts on programs with radar, communication and electronic warfare applications. The selected candidate will be a highly motivated individual with strong interest and expertise in software test techniques and methodologies.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Perform software test-related tasks such as writing test plans, developing test procedures, running tests, writing test reports, creating problem reports and managing requirement traceability
- Develop test scripts and test software, supporting unit tests, integration test and regression tests
- Develop tools to facilitate the analysis of software test results
- Operate radar, communication and electronic warfare systems in conjunction with system and user interface tests
- Work within cross functional teams to include radar systems, communication systems, digital, radio frequency and mechanical engineers
- Develop, maintain and provide training for organizational processes related to software test
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or electrical egineering with one or more years of software testing experience
- Strong experience with software test (familiar with white box, black box, etc.)
- Highly motivated and passionate about software testing
- Software development experience with embedded systems is a plus
- Knowledge of software process standards (such as CMMI, DO178B) is a plus
- Familiarity with C/C++, C# and Java is a plus

Qualifications
