Key duties include, but are not limited to, managing profit/loss; securing new business opportunities, projects and clients; matching the client and project type focus with the overall business strategy of the service line and the firm; defining the appropriate marketing strategy to achieve sales goals and/or market penetration and assists with execution of such strategy; participating in activities of local and national professional and/or civic organizations to establish, enhance, and maintain Woolpert’s presence in the marketplace.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 12 years related experience. PE license is strongly preferred, but not required, with extensive design experience in wet infrastructure (water/wastewater/stormwater). Additionally, candidate must possess strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

GENERAL FUNCTION:
Under the general direction of the Corporate Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) group, apply CAE simulation tools to evaluate and optimize the overall performance and quality of new or improved product designs.
Responsibilities:
1. Apply Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) simulation tools to impact product development through increased product quality, improved time to market, lowered product cost or proving out new technologies for new products.

Qualifications

* Identify and contact potential authors; maintain a community of contributing authors
* Stimulate article submittal; maintain a healthy backlog (“pipeline”) of articles

* Manage the peer review process; interact with authors and reviewers in the editorial refinement of submitted articles
* Direct the Managing Editor in the development and organization of peer-reviewed and informational content into interesting and informative issues
* Perform initial screening and final editorial review on all manuscripts; review print-ready layouts
* Oversee improvement and evolution of Journal format and organization
* Interact with and support the PCI Journal Advisory Committee
* Prepare and administer annual and monthly budgets
* Serve as a member of the PCI senior management team: lead, motivate, and develop PCI volunteer leadership; participate in strategic and long-term planning activities for the Institute and the Industry
