Job Description:

Our client is a multinational corporation in Stamford, CT. They are seeking an IT Audit Manager to participate in risk assessments and assurance and advisory projects. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan, execute and document audits for various operations of the organization including assessing risks and determining scope of assigned audits
  • Assess business, operating, and control risks and make recommendations for improvements of current and proposed systems and operations
  • Conduct and document reviews of financial, technology, and operational areas that are complex in nature
  • Evaluate compliance with legal, regulatory, and operational policies and procedures
  • Provide significant input into the annual and periodic risk assessments of business processes, functions, departments, etc.
  • Ensure integration with the firm's Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance programs
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and testing of financial and operational areas; investigate and document issues for senior management
IT Audit Management Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of experience with advanced knowledge of internal / external auditing
  • CPA, CIA, CISA, or other professional certifications are desirable
  • A Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Information Technology is preferred
  • Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and/or relevant functional or industry experience
  • Experience auditing or working in an IT environment
  • Ability to train and develop junior staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Our client, a leading New Jersey based industrial firm, seeks a Senior Tax Analyst to assist in the computation of FAS 109 at year's end, FIN18 quarterly tax provision computation, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and monitoring. Prepare federal and state income tax return filings, prepare state apportionment work papers, state and local tax credits and incentives, state income tax audits, and special projects in tax related functions. The position provides you with outstanding exposure as well as a great compensation package and work environment. Senior Tax Analyst Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting or equivalent field
  • 4 plus years of tax experience with a public accounting firm and/or private corporation
  • Minimum 2 years of FAS 109 experience including 'M-3' items
  • Experience with Taxstream software is a plus
  • Experience with the JDE general ledger program and Insource RS tax preparation software is a plus
  • A CPA or someone on the CPA track is preferred
