Job Description: Provide hands-on system administration support, system maintenance and operations support in customer spaces. Support multiple computer operating systems in a heterogeneous environment. Be responsible for providing system administration and network support to the customer using Microsoft Windows, UNIX (Solaris), and Linux (Redhat) operating systems. Required Skills: - 0-2 years system administration experience
- Demonstrated experience providing customer technical support in a systems administration role.
- Experience installing and troubleshooting system upgrades, software patches, and computer applications.
- Should have experience or knowledge in at least 3 of the following: Windows OS, Linux OS, UNIX OS, CITRIX
- Should have experience or knowledge in at least 2 of the following: Active Directory, Sharepoint, VMware and/or Exchange.
- Must also have working knowledge of Solaris based NIS and DNS configurations.
- Must have experience with Sun and Dell systems hardware.
Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance and Full Scope polygraph are required. Desired Skills: Experience in Veritas Netbackup and Cisco networking is a plus. Education Required: BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems related technical discipline. Equivalent work experience may substitute for educational requirements.
