HR Analyst

The HR Analyst administers and provides analytical support for company benefit and compensation programs, with a focus on stock plans and the 401(k) retirement plan. Additionally, the HR Analyst provides support for department wide initiatives and special projects.

  • Maintain company’s incentive stock program through evaluating, formulating & ensuring data accuracy for all stock vesting, grants, exercises, terminations, share transfers and sales. Ensure participant stock files are set up and complete. Research and resolve issues related to stock program for Accounting and Legal departments. Provide reports, analyze data and partner with vendors.
  • Manage service award procedure by tracking awards, entering grants into stock systems (Equity Edge & Solium Shareworks), ordering plaques and communicating with legal, employees and their managers.
  • Oversee Employee Stock Purchase Program by processing employee enrollments, election changes and withdrawals.
  • Compile and review documentation for various audits, including Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), 401(k) and benefits audits.
  • Compile data for 401(k) plan and flexible spending account annual non-discrimination testing.
  • Assist/train Human Resources staff in maintaining accurate data in the HRIS; provide on-going data analysis and audit support.
  • Provide analytical assistance with integrating personnel into the organization’s HRIS, benefit plans, compensation packages, etc. post acquisition.
  • Responsible for the creation, analysis and follow-up support for the Affirmative Action Plans and compliance related reports including EEO-1 report, Vets-100 report.
  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing HRIS reporting tools (HRP Toolbox). Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Assist/train Human Resources staff to develop specialized ad hoc reports as needed. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries, analyzing data and making corrections.
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity for new hires, promotions, benefits and terminations.
  • Assist employees with general HR, benefit & stock related inquiries.
  • Maintain and update organizational charts.
  • Act as back up for various HR functions including parking/metro program administration, payroll processing, company intranet updating, new hire on-boarding, including orientation, entering new hires into HRIS, processing I-9 paperwork and performing E-verify.
  • Create and maintain process and procedures documentation for all stock programs. Make recommendations for process improvement.
  • Reconcile HR invoices for various vendors, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
  • Effectively organize HR and payroll documentation and file accordingly.

  • Undergraduate degree in business or related HR field.
  • 3+ years in a HR/HRIS role.
  • Data administration, analysis and report generation experience needed.
  • Previous stock plan administration and/or system implementation experience a plus.
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills, ability to multitask, prioritize & adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to analyze datasets, problem solve, etc., and draw meaningful conclusions/make recommendations for action at individual, unit, and function level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
  • Ability to provide high quality customer service.
  • Understanding of HR processes and procedures.
