Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist/Lean Six Sigma Green Belt These positions are CONTINGENT UPON AWARD Job Description: Raytheon Mission Operations and Services (MOS) Business Excellence team has recently been selected to provide Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) support to the General Services Administration (GSA) Office of Performance Improvement (OPI). This initiative will require a range of services including program measurements, Lean Six Sigma training, consulting and coaching support, strategic planning and program management and communications and marketing tasking. To support this initiative, an experienced Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist is needed to: - Support Implementation of a LSS Training program
- Support LSS Steering Committee training and meeting activities
- Provide support of the LSS program throughout GSA
- Provide support throughout Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) process for multiple LSS Improvement project teams
- Provide Green Belt support to the process improvement practitioners within GSA
The successful candidate will interact successfully with the external customer's Green and Black Belt candidate population in the tools and methodologies of Lean, Six Sigma and related process improvement disciplines. Position is located in Washington, D.C . Relocation allowance / assistance is not available. Required Skills: - Must have a BS/BA in a related discipline
- Must be a Qualified Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist with at least 3 completed projects or verifiable external Green Belt Program Certification
- Must have a minimum of 4+ years experience in process improvement, quality or related discipline
- Must have proven culture change management experience and experience dealing with customer leadership
Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship is required. Desired Skills - Working knowledge of Merit, Power Steering or equivalent program management tool
